Malta under 19's make an impressive win against Belgium 2-1 to win the World Cup. The maltese players are Samuel Bartolo, Roderick Sciberras, Jean Carl Tabone and Melanie Fench. Roderick Sciberras won the individual under 19's to make it a double for Malta in the under 19.
Sciberras met both favourites of winning the World Cup in the semi final and final who are Mickael Casciano and Carlo Flores. Sciberras won Casciano 3-2 and won the final with a golden goal in extra time against Carlo Flores 2-1. Another Maltese player Jean Carl Tabone managed to the semi final were he met Carlo Flores who won the match 3-1.
In the team's category Malta won against Austria 3-1 then met Belgium in the final. The matches played in the final are:

Mickaël Casciano - Samuel Bartolo 2-3
