Aged 35. He is employed as a security controller. This year he registered with one of the best clubs in the World, Perugia A.S. Started playing Table Football at the age of 14. Those days, he was introduced to the sport through friends until he obtained a Subbuteo box as a birthday present from his parents.During 1984, he participated in the Juniors tournament and was crowned Youth Maltese champion. He won 6 times the Maltese championshiop. During 1988 he won the European Championship were later that year he won the European Cup in Belgium. Overall, Joe won more than 100 titles including Knock Outs, Christmas Cups, Challenge Cups amongst others.Took part in various international tournaments such as Sucy En Brie, Elbouf (France), Mons, Temploux, Verviers, Namur (Belgium), London, Scotland, Dublin, Italy, Germany. He is one of the national players and ahs been captain of the national team for the past three years where Malta qualified for the World Cup Greece 2000, in Birmingham 2002, World Cup in Malta 2003 and also in Bologna 2004.

From Attard Malta. JMDebono age 61 start playing subbuteo in 1956 occupation tailor by trade. Lately joined Zabbar subbuteo club as international relation secretary. He also takes care for the fixtures of the same club. Ex-President of Malta Subbuteo Association 1988/89. Referee during World Cup 1990 Italy. Took part in veterans league and as a referee in Sucy en Brie. Apart the age Joe still has many to give for the game. Next step is for him to organise the first Grand Prix in Malta for ZSC.

Started playing Subbuteo at the age of 17. Joined Hamrun Table Football Club and remained there for almost 10 years. He won several competitions from Knock Out competitions, Christmas cups and even division titles. Also played for Hamrun Table Football Club during the national league and won for 3 times the clubs' league event. From 2002 has been playing for Zabbar Subbuteo Club and won several competitions too. Also to mention that he made part of the double won by Zabbar Subbuteo Club where both the League and the Knock Out competition were won by Zabbar Subbuteo Club. As international competitions, he participated in several tournaments including Sucy en Brie, Mons, South Queensferry in Scotland, played also in Spain, Temploux, Verviers, Charleroi, Namur, London, Linchfield, Dublin and Catania where he won both events. He has been part of the national squad for the past years where he played in Birmingham World Cup 2002, Malta World Cup 2003 and Bologna World Cup 2004. Also to mention is that he was part of a promotion tour held by Clifford Borg Marks in conjunction with the FISTF held in Hong Kong and China in February 2004.
