As you know, our sport is sometimes ridiculed by some people who contend that it is not a sport. The Malta association (MTFSA) is recognised by the Malta Olympic Committee and is in fact a member of the Malta Olympic Committee.

This, together with the fact that the Under-19 Malta team has been chosen as a finalist for the team of the year, is in my opinion a victory for all Table Football enthusiasts all over the world, who can now strengthen their argument that, yes, Table Football is indeed a sport.
